Overview

A website for a travel agency needed to be created. It should be self-explaining and easy to add new content. The design was delivered, so none needed to be created. For the website we developed a new image-slideshow plugin and several crosslinks between the single tours for easy navigation.

The Brief

I got a layout and they wanted me to build the whole xHTML & CSS website including a handmade jQuery plugin for the slideshow. Additionally the whole system needed to be attached to a Web Content Management System (WCMS).

The Solution

The new design was coded in valid xhtml & css as usual. The slideshow was done via jQuery and no external plugins. A complete new slideshow had been coded for the website and was made as jQuery plugin by hand, to fit the needs of the very unique multislider. To get easily new content on the page we attached the Web Content Management System (WCMS) Phenotype that is very flexible and easy to use.
